Her journey into destination weddings started in 2002, when she helped plan her best friend’s wedding on Isla Mujeres. Faced with cultural and logistical challenges at every turn, Tiffany learned as she went—an experience that revealed a clear need for an English-speaking wedding coordinator who could bridge expectations between North American couples and the island’s unique setting.

From that moment, Tiffany was determined to create a better way. She founded SunHorse Weddings with the vision of offering a full-service, curated planning experience designed with both the couple and their guests in mind.

As our sales manager, vendor manager, HR lead, and accounting coordinator, Alex keeps every detail running smoothly—ensuring contracts, vendor orders, and payments are handled with accuracy and care.

A world traveler with a passion for people, Alex has spent 12 years on Isla Mujeres building strong relationships with local vendors and training our team to deliver weddings with confidence and professionalism. With over 10 years of wedding planning experience and involvement in more than 100 celebrations, Gabriela de León brings both expertise and heart to every wedding she coordinates. Raised in nearby Cancún, she has a deep understanding of the region and its traditions, which she blends seamlessly with each couple’s unique vision.

Gabriela is known for being dynamic, professional, patient, and kind—qualities that help her anticipate needs, manage details, and keep the wedding day stress-free. From the pre-wedding meeting and rehearsal through the final moments of the celebration, she is there every step of the way, ensuring couples and their guests can fully enjoy the experience.

Born and raised on Isla Mujeres, Kai Creamer is deeply connected to the island community and brings that local insight to every event she coordinates. As a Day-of Coordinator and Events Manager, she oversees vendors, catering, and logistics on the wedding day—handling every detail and even unexpected challenges with calm professionalism and grace.

Kai’s wide range of knowledge comes naturally; with a mother who is a local doctor and a father who is an engineer, she grew up in a family of problem-solvers. That background, combined with her own organizational talents, makes her a trusted presence throughout the wedding experience. From the pre-wedding meeting to group events and the wedding day itself, Kai is there from beginning to end, ensuring everything flows smoothly.

Beyond weddings, Kai is a dedicated member of the island community. She organizes the island’s annual Earth Day clean-up and is actively involved in ecological initiatives that protect and preserve Isla Mujeres.
